Dear
visitor,
Welcome
to the website of the Dutch Austin A30/A35 Eigenaren club,
Austinclub for short. We are pleased to have you here and hope to
give you some useful information and will the pages satisfy your
curiosity.
The
Austin A30-A35 Eigenaren Club counts about 100 members and in 2006
we existed for 25 years. We have celebrated this Lustrum with
members and many guests especially from Britain. Without a Lustrum
to celebrate we will continue to organize events such as:
Oldtimerdays, Camping Weekends, Tours etc. We also produce a nice
magazine called Austinfo 4 times a year, filled with articles
about technical stuff, personal experience of restoration, offer
and demand for spares, historical facts and private adventures
with or about our
Austins
.
My
very first meeting, I just turned eleven years old, with the club
was in the South of Holland during a so called Eurovisit of
British A30/A35 Owners Club. We have experienced a lot of
adventures with the Austinclub as a family in the
Netherlands
and abroad. My first car was, very logical, an A30. Unfortunately,
I enjoyed my first car intensively for just one year. Since a few
years I can call myself the pride owner of an As3 that used to be
one of the first cars known to the Dutch club.
Recently I've sold the As3 and now I'm restauring a Van.
For
many years I have enjoyed so many good times thanks to the
Austinclub, I thought it was about time to pay back.
Tessa
van Arum
Chairman
Dutch Austin A30-A35 Owners Club
